My Dad got me interested in this boot and after many years of cheap knock off army boots I purchased the Corcoran 1500. Both my Dad and I went one whole size smaller. Width sizing was normal for both of us. They are very sturdy and comfortable boot. I walk a lot on concrete and have not had sore feet or knee’’s since their purchase. My only dislike was the eyelet holes on the back side were not riveted smoothly so they tore up the new laces. A simple file cured that. Liked these enough to buy the historic brown pair to go with them. Write a review on those after I break them in. Happy make for a happy day.

excellent kangaroo leather shoes for hunting but fitting of these shoes is better than the kangaroo leather ones. Softer than those more flexible possibly due to non metallic Shank. Our hunting season is off now but hope that next season I’’ll defintely prefer CV 4100.t fit I used to wear cabella’’s

I work as a paramedic and these boots are great Very comfortable to walk on for 12 hour shifts. When I was in the Marines we had the tan boots which always seemed to dig at my heel and give me blisters I have not noticed that problem with these boots maybe because I’’m not humping a pack 20 miles. Definetly a great boot for police and EMS I hope they don’’t stop making them.

My first pair of Cochran’’s cost me less than $20.00. Of course they were black and that was over 40 years ago. Some things never change though. This is absolutely the finest boot I have ever owned. I am a WWII reenactor and I am the absolute envy of all my other buddiesThey were only a few dollars more and yet I know that I am buying quality as I made almost 75 static line jumps with my first pair and they lasted me five years with only one replacement of the heels necessary. I expect these to last me the rest of my life. Cochran Company you made this old Paratrooper happy
