This is a great looking shoe. Breaks in very easy and like it. But what I hate about this shoes is the sliding soles. The S8 sole slides like the S6 sole does NO slide at all. Then when I go to the S10 sole I can’’t stop it’’s like being on ice. The heels wasn’’t no big help so I use my 3g adjustable heel for the heel. I have to use a teflon cover just to be able to slide. I don’’t have a long slide and the S8 sole won’’t even slide 2 inches for me. I’’ve tried everything to get it to slide. The only way I can get the S8 sole to slide is if I use easy slide and that’’s illegal to use now. I emailed Dexter and waiting for there response to this. If I don’’t hear from them then I’’m going to go back to my old 3g shoes and never buy Dexter’’s again. It’’s a shame that I paid $150 for these and have to use a $10 teflon slide cover just to slide I should’’ve just stayed with my old 3g’’s I guess.

The SST Shoe has always been my shoe of choice because it has met the size of my feet. Shoes do not always fit or someone having my size 4e. I thank you so much for your company. I will always call on you in the future Thanks

Got the gray and blacks at my pro shop..great shoe. didnt take long to break in . The slide was / is superior so the breaking in was really for my own benefit as I was not accustomed to a shoe of this caliber. Looks great feels great and versatile. I am a league bowler and my other shoes would grab amd stick at times and show visibly wearing down and the slide soles not as durable. These are smooth and predictable/ reliable.

This is a very stiff shoe. After several Months it has not softened yet.
My biggest complaint is that after paying a price for a Cadillac of Bowling shoes they do not have a slide sole that satidfies me. Admitedly I have a long slide. I will end up putting a Teflon sole on one of their slide soles to make the shoes useable.
Last time I spen this kind of money on a Bowling shoe. I could have bought a much cheaper and more comfortable shoe and put the Teflon sole on it just as easily.
It really is a shame that someone who claims to be 1 cannot accomplish a basic function of Bowling shoes.
I m sure that this shoe will wear like Iron if I am ever able to break it in.
Bowling shoes are not what they once were.

Stiffer than most but that makes the plant more stabel. I have used the SST 6 for years and was happy but this shoe is above that one.

product would have gotten a 5 but its a half size larger nothing that a thicker pair of socks couldn’’t remedy . . .

It’’s great bowling shoes and helps to assist with changing heels and soles to fit up match on slide control to be accuracy.
