I’’d been wearing a pair of the Dove style for 2 years which were wonderfully comfy and soft but when it was time to replace them I was excited about the Andes because they have a more fashionable look than some of the other Nurse Mates styles. The Andes aren’’t nearly as comfortable as the Dove however. The sole is quite stiff so it doesn’’t bend with my food and they make "clomping" noises as I walk. The fit seems a little off also: I got an 8 Wide and the length is great but the shoes are still quite narrow through the forefoot - not enough to pinch but there is pressure it’’s tight across the foot. The odd thing though is that the heel is much too wide the back of my foot flops around at the heel and my socks tend to slip down bunch up at the back under my foot because of the extra space in the shoe. I will keep them maybe they will break in but if I had tried them on first I probably wouldn’’t have chosen these.
