I have a large foot for a woman and have troubles finding shoes to fit correctly
I need a guy size and width but the Nurse Mate are the best fit so far.

Due to past foot surgeries I have to order wide shoes. These shoes were true to the width however there is very little cushioning in the heal. I thought it being labeled as "nurses mates" it would provide decent heal support. But with an aftermarket heal support pads these shoes are comfortable to all day wear.

The Louise is the only shoe I have found to offer comfort style and a great fit all in one. The toe box is especially roomy which is hard to find these days. I have been ordering the Louise for nearly 10 years now. I would certainly give it an overall rating of 5 with one exception the lace loops. The shoes far outlast the lace loops. The first loops to go are always at the top where they are tied. At $4.00 a pop the repair cost mounts up quickly. Although eyelets would be stronger I realize that the loops may be more fashionable. However if you merely replaced the last one or two loops with eyelets I believe it would correct the problem without compromising the shoe’’s syle. The eyelets would bear the lion’’s share of the lace tension and the remaining loops would be less likely to break.Please consider this suggestion. Thank you.

I bought the shoes because I am on my feet at work and needed something comfortable with support like sneakers. I wear a 7.5 or 8 and ordered the 8 because I wear the sport socks with them. the first day I wore them I worked 8.5 hours and my feet were great My sister is a bank teller and she recommended them and I am so glad she did.

Bought the shoe and loved wearing it. It is light weight attractive and fits really well. I have really bad feet and never found a shoe that fit like this one. The one bad thing about it it is made of very cheap quality leather - if you can call it that. It feels more like paper than leather and I won’’t buy it again until they improve the quality of the materials... That’’s why I am giving it a 2 rating..
