Overall Rating:

Fits true to size Fits true to width

These boots fit perfect and felt great on my feet right out of the box. They are also suprisingly light weight. The only thing I would mention in terms of a warning would be that if you're used to wearing flat shoes or boots these do have a bit of a heel and elevate the back of your foot somewhat. It didn't take any time at all to get used to this for me but it is a different feel compared to a flat boot. I thought the price was a bit high but being made in the USA and the quality make them worth the extra dollars. I'm sure these will last many years

Details:

The first sighting of the infamous Engineer boot was in 1938. Crafted on an English Riding Boot last with a stovepipe leg, the Engineer was adored by the true engineers of the Depression Era: ship engineers of WWII, and train engineers who needed performance footwear. They are now more at home on the open road, gripping the stirrups of a motorcycle.

  • A workhorse of a boot, this style gets its name from the people who wore them: the ship and train engineers of the early twentieth century who needed dependable performance footwear. With a form equal to its function, the Engineer remains a popular boot that is hard to beat when it comes to performance or looks.
