The roper boot was first introduced in the 1950s as an alternative to tennis shoes for the everyday cowboy or girl. In keeping with cowboy attire, the roper boot was designed with a low-heel, shorter boot shaft, and rounded toe. Also significant was the lacing detail, which was necessary so the boot didn’t fall off the rider. True to the original roper style, the Erin is handcrafted with sturdy materials and has an attractive casual-western silhouette
