I have worn these shoes--I have a black and brown pair--since 2006. I have only had 2 pair of the black ones since 2006. They are the best fitting shoes I have ever worn, I wear the black ones 90 percent of the year on a daily basis. They still look great but I just want a newer pair. The go great whether worn for casual or for dress up.

I have a narrow foot and I tried on a Touareg at a local store before buying on-line the store also only had the brown. The fit at the store felt a bit wide with both vamps meeting when fully tied. But the pair that arrived fit much better so that was good news for me. What was the biggest surprise however is the weight. I have some Merrells and love them and I’’ve never minded their weight-just chalked it up to sturdy construction. What surprises me every time I put on or pick up the Touaregs is how light they are. Great deal great shoes and I really liked the call to thank me for my order and give me my expected delivery date the shoes arrived a day after but I didn’’t mind.
